libapp-options-perl software package provides command-line option values processing system, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapp-options-perl
libapp-options-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapp-options-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapp-options-perl *
You will get with libapp-options-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
